Slice Count: 5 (4 slices of of homemade cheese pizza + 1 slice Mediterranean California Pizza Kitchen pizza)
Weight: did not weigh Exercise: 40 minutes of swimming + 20 minutes of running at triathlon practice Cost: $0 How I feel generally: I am feeling pretty good in general but ... see below How my tummy feels: Just like Sunday, everything going right through me. I forgot to take a Lactaid pill with the ice cream Extras: One coffee, two bananas, some jalapeño Cape Cod potato chips, baby carrots, 2 Safeway oatmeal raisin cookies I completely forgot to take a photo. Oops. Swimming and running felt great today, although my body is still a little unhappy about the half-marathon on Sunday. I just want to note - yes, I am lactose intolerant and the ice cream from yesterday messed my stomach up because it has a lot of lactose, but I have not needed Lactaid this month because the cheese on my pizza hardly has any lactose! Cheese is the casein from milk without the whey (which has the majority of the lactose) and it is also fermented, so any lactose left in there is most likely fermented to lactic acid. If you are just lactose intolerant and not dairy intolerant, you can still eat hard cheeses!
